Mission Statement

Altrusa International, Inc. of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas

is a network of working and retired individuals dedicated to sharing friendship while

every member has an opportunity to volunteer their time, talent and skills.

In the shadows of towering pines blooms the Dogwood tree, showing its delicate blossoms to the sun, making an exquisite difference in the darkness of the woods.   Like the Dogwood, Altrusans reach out to make a difference in our world.                                                                   Gail E. Held

The Dogwood is a native tree of the Eastern United States.  Its botanical name is Cornus Florida.  The Dogwood tree grows in abundance in Hot Springs Village, and its blossom has been adopted as our club symbol.
