Our first pre-organizational meeting was held on October 27, 2003, at Coronado Community Center in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas.  The Club was organized by Joan Hoover (District Eight New Club Building Chair) of Altrusa International, Inc. of Little Rock, assisted by Sue Pine also from the Little Rock Club as well as Diana Arms from the Conway Club.

Pre-organization & Charter

at 2003-2004 District Conference.

Organized February 2, 2004, the Club’s Charter Banquet was held on March 29, 2004.  The Club Charter was presented to first President Joan Hoover by Altrusa International, Inc. Representative Betty Absheer, International Director and Past Governor of District Eight.  Alice Ann Simkins was Governor of District Eight at the time the Club was chartered.
