· Comfort Kits provides clothing to sexually abused victims through hospitals across two counties

· 4.0 Student Scholarship Awards and Recognition Luncheon at the Governor’s Mansion honoring students with a 4.0 GPA from three local high schools

· Tutoring at local public schools and Literacy Council of Garland County

· Provide funding for educational materials for students at the Literacy Council of Garland County

· Support the Literacy Project by providing books through the ASO Children's Concert in Hot Springs

· “Make a Difference Day” project —purchase and deliver dictionaries to local 3rd graders and the Literacy Council of Garland County

· Sophomore Career Days at Jessieville and Mountain Pine Schools - organize and participate

· Village Pride Day Clean-up, Spring and Fall

· HSV Loan Closet and Chamber of Commerce in Hot Springs Village - provide volunteers several times a month for loaning medical equipment and greeting Village visitors

· Book Box Project provides books and magazines to women’s shelters

 

Service Projects Activities

· Participate in Patriotic Observances

· Prepare and serve dinner at annual student-tutor recognition banquet for the Literacy Council of Garland County

 

Fundraiser

 

A major fundraiser is held in the Fall.  All profits from our fundraisers go to support our

many community service projects.  We have become a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whereby  contributions are tax deductible to the donors and fundraising activities.
